Yoga

The mind, body and spirit are closely interconnected, and nothing keeps that harmony in balance better than yoga. But just as each individual is different, so too are the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of yoga.

Yoga helps some clients stay healthy, happy, flexible and unstressed. For other clients, such as athletes of all levels and ages, yoga can be an effective cross-training technique that develops great breathing techniques while also improving balance, flexibility, core strength and endurance.

Yoga can also be used to prevent injury—and recover faster if an injury occurs. With the right instructor and personalized approach, yoga has proven to be safe and effective in positively impacting the body by helping to regulate blood glucose levels, improve musculoskeletal ailments and keep the cardiovascular system in peak form.

Yoga can help to increase mental energy and positive feelings, decrease negative feelings of aggressiveness, and help people from all walks of life cope with depression and anxiety.

At AMP, under the direction of certified and veteran coach and yoga instructor Mary Tobiason, Mary and her team of yoga specialists work with each athlete or client on a personal basis to craft an individual series of exercises based on the goals and objectives of each individual.

There is no “one size fits all” approach to yoga at AMP. Our yoga is all you—and what you want.
